Your HVAC Training has many theories coupled within your HVAC Training that you will have to have a practical competency in. Each area of expertise in your job will deal with these theories. Let s look at the HVAC Theory in general to give you a better understanding.

In general air conditioning removes heat.  The medium used for this removal is refrigerant.  As the refrigerant expands and is turned into a liquid the absorbtion heat is made.  The gas of refrigerant entraps the heat and takes it to the condensor where it is then released (the heat) and the vapor is thus turned back into a gas.

Remember compressors are basically pumps and cannot pump liquids only vapors, therefore when the term liquid feedback is used it indicates that the liquid is not vaporizing and is simply running back to the compressor in a liquid form.

HVAC Training has many different aspects with a knowledge base that is ever changing as it relates to HVAC Theory.  The introduction of new technology keeps improving our equipment but the theory is still relevant and will always be.  Of course these theories may seem a little overwhelming however, once the basic knowledge is applied they all seem to flow together and some are more stressed than others. Each mastery of the different theories will produce more of a knowledge base for you as a technician to rely on.
